中国科学院沈阳自动化研究所是一所成立于1958年的国家级研究所，位于辽宁省沈阳市。它致力于机器人、智能制造和光电信息技术的研究，为国家的快速发展解决一些最重要的问题。设有机器人国家重点实验室、机器人国家工程研究中心、中国科学院网络控制系统重点实验室、中国科学院光电信息处理重点实验室等10个国家级或省级实验室和中心。该研究所是国际机器人与机械研究中心(IRCRM)和国际工业物联网技术研究中心(IRCIIT)的中国合作伙伴，还是国内核心学术期刊《机器人》、《信息与控制》的主办单位。拥有5个博士学位点，8个研究生学位点，2个博士后流动站，目前在读研究生500余人。

Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIACAS) is a national institute established in 1958 and located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. It is dedicated to research in robotics, intelligent manufacturing and opto-electronic information technology, tackling some of the most important issues for the rapid development of the country.

SIACAS operates ten national or provincial laboratories and centers, including State Key Laboratory of Robotics, National Engineering Research Center on Robotics, CAS Key Laboratory of Networked Control System and CAS Key Laboratory of Opto-electronics Information Processing. SIACAS is the Chinese partner of International Research Center for Robotics & Mechanism (IRCRM) and International Research Center for Industrial IoT Technologies (IRCIIT). The institute is also the sponsor of Robot, Information and Control, both core academic journals in China. SIACAS has five Ph.D. programs, eight post-graduate programs and two post-doctoral work station. Over 500 postgraduate students are studying at the institute.
